Should You Try Eyelash Extensions
When the beauty-conscious want to look their best, they often turn to Botox and fillers. But eyelash extensions, a cheaper and quicker boost, are increasingly popular among Americans, according to new research from data science firm Spate.
US-based Google searches for the term have grown by 26 per cent since last year, averaging 883,000 per month, says the company, which was founded in 2018 by two former Google researchers. Unlike many beauty trends that burn hot and flame out quickly, Spate has given the eyelash extension trend a “high confidence rating”, meaning it is 90 per cent sure it will see steady future growth, jumping another 14.1 per cent in the next 12 months alone. The ratings are determined by machine learning algorithms that predict strength based on previous trends data.
For all of these reasons, eyelash extensions are not just a trend, they are a way of life. The amazing artists in the world who have taken the time to learn the craft and do it well have changed the lives of many women across the globe and will continue to do so for years and years to come.
Lash extensions have become hugely popular in recent years. From celebrities and stars to the women at your work, and ones you see on the street, ladies everywhere are obtaining beautifully full and long lashes with lash extensions. If you’re wondering whether you should try it out yourself, here’s everything you need to know before diving in and getting glued.
